Up for sale is my 2006 MINI GP1 — a rare and iconic limited-edition model. Only 2,000 examples of the GP1 were produced worldwide, with fewer than 500 in right-hand drive. Each car was hand-finished by Bertone in Italy, and this particular vehicle is number 1572.

This vehicle was maintained for 12 years by renowned MINI specialist Mini Matt (MJR) for the previous long-term owner. Since my purchase, it has also been checked over by Millsys Autos, who carried out the following work:

-Four-Wheel Alignment
-New Auxiliary Belt & Spark Plugs

This GP is being sold simply because I have several other vehicles and am currently building another R53 project. It would be a shame for this one to sit unused. It’s a great opportunity to own a genuine GP1 at a more accessible price point — ideal for someone who wants to enjoy it without the fear of racking up miles.
