Hello my friends,

Is anyone running the new improved vibratechnics top engine mount? Too much parkinson, or is it fine, conpensating in gains? There is one question in another forum, regarding uneaven engine mount, causing a large list of peoblems in the future.

Anyone care to share some feedback? Maybe even with both lower and upper combo install?

Thanks!

I have the whole (pre-facelift) set so I can't comment on only using the top mount. May be in the near future as I think the Cabrio hydraulic mount is at it's end.

I must say I didn't notice a big difference going from a 100% Powerflex setup to a Vibratechnics installation. It is a bit stiffer but no extra (or less) vibration. Shifting may be has gotten better but not much.

I've heard the stories about uneven damping and did that with the Texas Speedwerks Engine Damper, I had no issues with it other than after some time the brackets bended.

Hi Berthil,

Thank you very much, as always, for your great input.

I heard the top mount, when added the arm that engages to the suspension tower ( facelift version), was a big improvement.

I'll change at least both top and lower mounts, i guess.

Not sure yet about the 3rd one.
